How FortuNetra Works
FortuNetra gives you a free reading built from two traditions that both start with your birth date: Western numerology and natal chart astrology. Enter your date of birth, and optionally your birth time, birthplace and name, and FortuNetra calculates your numbers and your chart first. An AI reader then turns those results into a written answer to the question you asked.
What we actually calculate
Your numerology profile uses the Pythagorean system (A=1, B=2 … I=9, then repeating), with the master numbers 11, 22 and 33 kept intact. From your birth date and name we calculate five core numbers: Life Path, Destiny, Soul Urge, Personality and Birthday.
Your natal chart is calculated with the open-source astronomy-engine library, using the tropical zodiac and equal houses. It shows the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets, the lunar nodes, your Ascendant and Midheaven, the aspects between planets, and the balance of elements and modalities in your chart.
Three readers, three different voices
You choose who reads for you: a warm, empathetic guide who starts with how you feel; a measured elder who focuses on where you are in life; or a bold seer who looks for the angle you have not considered. All three read the same calculated data, but they notice different things and answer in their own way. Readings can be delivered in 20 languages.
Free, private and honest about its limits
Readings are free, with up to three per day. We do not store the name you type: it is converted into its numerology values before anything is saved. Readings are offered for entertainment and self-reflection, not as medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. If a question suggests that you are in crisis, we show a link to local helplines alongside the reading.

Getting the Most from Your Reading
A reading is most useful when it answers a real question. Before you start, think about what you actually want to understand: a relationship, a decision at work, or a pattern you keep noticing in your life. The question you write shapes which parts of your numbers and chart the reader focuses on.
Love and relationships
For love questions, the reader looks first at your Sun sign and your Moon sign, which describes your emotional needs and how you respond when you feel close to someone. If you entered your name, your Soul Urge number adds a view of what you want from a partner at a deeper level. Questions such as "What do I need in a relationship right now?" usually lead to more useful answers than "Will they come back?"
Career and direction
For career questions, the reader draws on your Destiny number, the dominant element in your chart and the key aspects between your planets. These describe how you like to work and where friction tends to appear. The aim is not to predict a job offer, but to give you a clearer view of your strengths and one concrete step to take next.
How to ask a good question
Be specific and write in your own words. Mention your situation briefly, for example "I have been offered a new role but I am worried about leaving my team." You can ask in any of the 20 supported languages, and the reading will be written in the language you choose. If you are not sure where to start, the example questions under each topic are a good place to begin.
What a reading can and cannot do
Numerology and astrology are traditions of symbolism, not science. A reading can help you reflect, put feelings into words and look at a situation from a new angle. It cannot tell you what another person is thinking, and it should never replace professional advice about health, money or legal matters. We do not make predictions about death, illness, gambling, investments or exams.
History of Fortune-Telling
The history of fortune-telling extends back to ancient civilizations. In ancient Egypt and Babylonia, people observed the movements of the stars and planets and tried to link them with events on Earth. This form of celestial observation is regarded as the origin of astrology, which is still widely followed today.
Numerology has similarly old roots. The idea that numbers carry meaning is often associated with the Greek philosopher Pythagoras, and the letter-to-number system used in Western numerology today is named after him. Over the centuries, both astrology and numerology were shaped by Greek, Arabic and European scholars.
During medieval and Renaissance Europe, astrology was studied alongside astronomy and medicine, and horoscopes were cast for rulers and nobles. Tarot cards, which began as a card game in fifteenth-century Italy, later became one of the most popular tools for divination.
In Japan, fortune-telling has long been intertwined with faith and culture. During the Heian period, Onmyoji (Yin-Yang masters) used calendars and celestial observation to advise the imperial court, and practices such as palm reading and dream interpretation became part of everyday life.
Today, fortune-telling has moved online.
